Community Standards
HUSH is built for private, respectful communication. These standards apply to any content you voluntarily share outside of end-to-end encrypted conversations — including your username, public profile, invite messages, and reports submitted to Trust & Safety.
Respect other people
- No harassment, stalking, or targeted abuse.
- No hate speech directed at protected characteristics.
- No threats of violence.
- No doxxing or sharing private information without consent.
Keep the platform safe
- Do not impersonate other people or organisations.
- Do not use HUSH to coordinate illegal activity.
- Do not abuse the invite or reporting systems.
- Do not attempt to circumvent moderation, rate limits, or security controls.
How we enforce
Standards are enforced through user-submitted reports, not silent scanning. Verified violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal. Appeals can be submitted from the in-app help screen.
